  1. Since wrestling season is right around the corner I thought I would share this to anyone who isn't already locked into something and finds this useful. For the last few years, I have been using Google Sheets to keep up with my stats for my team. It has worked out well and every year I copy the template and change the name and dates. I thought I would share it with you and if you are a spreadsheet junky possibly we can collaborate to make it better. I have thought about extending the spreadsheet and doing per-period stats so I can start running reports on how the team does each period but I haven't made the time for it yet. It does some automatic calculations for tech falls, forfeits, and pins. I thought I would share it if anyone like to use it. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QNwZH1Zl0HzdDsFqxIGcGU-fPzQa3Z5ocKZtcVk5phs/edit?usp=sharing I know there are some programs out there and I have tried them and I didn't like their programming at the time but a good old fashion spreadsheet still works well.

  2. I didn’t see him mentioned, but I wanted to give a shout out to former state qualifier for Hanover Central, Ashton Mutuwa. He wrestled at the Summer Olympics in Paris for Team Nigeria at 125 kilograms. An incredible feat and opportunity.

    Iran wrestling news

What a warrior. Not just my favorite wrestler, he's becoming my favorite athlete in all sports. Hassan yazdani to me is like messi or ronaldo to football fans. I just hope he's fine and recover well before the world championships next year, im sure he can still perform at this level for at least 3 more years.

  4. Love it! So much better than your accusations without a shred of proof

  5. Bro, your 'source' has been caught lying in the past. Tons of people called him out for his lies and speculative BS. Like you, a bunch of talk without any proof. In the scientific field, we like to say correlation does not equal causation. How does the Illuminati explain Micic's silver in Minsk at 57kg, his gold at Warsaw at 57kg. Medals at Rome, Oran, Tarragona...there are more....you guessed it, all at 57kg? I'm sure the deep Serbian State made those results happen as well. If you're going to accuse people of cheating, maybe provide some evidence other than third-hand gossip. You seem to lob this crap around for some reason and one or two pariah posters in Iowa echo your crap, but its all nonsense without evidence. I hope no one in your orbit takes you seriously because this is pretty bush

  6. You literally just keep posting winking memes. I'm sure it's just a coincidence and not a sign of your inability to articulate your frustration. Look, you are in the wrestling illuminati, we ALL get that. You know people and things that others will never know, but I'll give you this--you're pretty handy with a winking meme. I'm privileged to even be on the receiving of your super creative, repetitive schtick

  7. There's no need to weep, friend. Greco is quite a bit less exciting and unenjoyable than freestyle and folkstyle, but that's hardly your fault. After all, you're just an anonymous, harmless Lil Greco apologist and that's ok

  8. Congrats to Sarah Hildebrandt on making it to the finals tomorrow! She has now set herself in stone no matter the result as one of the greatest to come out of the state of Indiana. If she can complete her dream of a Gold Medal tomorrow she will be on the Mt Rushmore of USA Women’s Wrestling. Good luck to Kayla Miracle later this week as she goes for Gold as well.

    Sarah Hildebrandt

Congrats! Sarah H. is the GOAT. Let's all cheer on Mason P. getting it done in a couple of days so we can spend time debating who is Indiana's best again. What a great Olympics thus far!

    Sarah Hildebrandt

Today was our first student day of school. Some students at the end of school passing period may have been a little concerned about my antics while watching Sarah’s Gold Medal match on my phone. And I have no shame about it. Great win after years of hard work and dedication. Hopefully this is an inspirations to even more young girls from Indiana.

  13. I assume someone remembers hearing about this at the time: Cael Sanderson had very few of the matches of his 159-0 career where he didn't earn bonus points--and most were TFs or Falls. In his 40-match junior year in 2000-01, only 2 opponents held him to regular 3-team-point decisions--the legendary wrestler and fighter Daniel Cormier...and Penn true freshman and Lowell HS grad Marcus Schontube. In their match, Schontube took him down in the first period and got some decent riding time. He actually led 4-2 in the second period before the match went the direction of many Sanderson matches: with a lot of takedowns and opponent escapes. But because Schontube had built a little lead and shortened the match, he got away with only a 16-10 loss. A slightly annoyed Sanderson commented later about how the kid was "a funky dude" who scored "some goofy points." Ha! Interestingly, in Sanderson's freshman year, when he was still mortal and had seven regular decisions, he only beat Evansville Central grad James Brimm, 5-0. Also of note, the same year as the Schontube match, Sanderson owned a win over FW Dwenger grad Anton Talamantes. Talamantes, too, competed much better than the average Sanderson opponent by that time in his career, and "only" lost by major decision.
