I didn’t see him mentioned, but I wanted to give a shout out to former state qualifier for Hanover Central, Ashton Mutuwa. He wrestled at the Summer Olympics in Paris for Team Nigeria at 125 kilograms. An incredible feat and opportunity.

Iran hasn't won a FS Olympic Gold since Yazdani in 2016... hopefully our 2028 team will be: Ahora Khateri - Rahman Amouzad - Sina Khalili - Kamran Ghasempour - Amir Azarpira - Amir Zare I was most disappointed by Zare. He was lacking in physicality from the first match and Geno clearly prepared for him very well. But he's a two time Olympic medalist at 23 years old, so I can't be too harsh on him. I think he will never lose to Geno again... And likely wins gold in 2028. With Taha's retirement the 125kg field is not very deep. We have cadet worlds and junior worlds then senior worlds still to look forward to in the next few months. Should be fun.

Iran had a good tourney particulalry in greco... it is a real shame for yazdani and the injury... healthy i think he takes that gold... anyway... good to see you guys again... i will check in for U20 worlds next month and albania tourneys in october...

Memories fuzzy but I’d venture to say 1999 Rosbottom-Minton probably ran into each level of the state series. Likely Hoosier Hills Conference and Jeff Classic too, along with possibly a dual or so. Minton snagging a big one at Regional which created the infamous Rosbottom-Jankowski Semi-State ticket round match.

Uggh, go reread what I wrote. Never said any of those calls were wrong. I said Mason provided the most action in the first period because the Mongolian did next to nothing besides head snap. So, now pay attention here, I was implying one did more work than the other and the rules should honor that but they don't; it's strictly a closest to the bullseye positioning issue. Never said the ref or judge made any incorrect call. You have a lot of hot takes that come across as pretty arrogant. Greco is so incredibly boring for most of the world. I think that alone makes a lot of your opinions fairly dubious. If you think Greco is remotely exciting and freestyle is boring, I don't know what else to say but you have some weird opinions and have a hard time expressing yourself without trying to belittle others. 91-92 season I believe Rico Talamentes(Ft Wayne North) vs Rodney Bolden(Ft Wayne South) happned all 4 weekends. Possible they were in different sectionals
