  1. I should mention he went back down to 57kg (125.5lb) for this after his relatively disappointing college foray up to 141 while considering becoming a 65kg (143lb) guy for Paris 2024.

  2. Micic just picked up a world bronze, wrestling the best he's ever looked at the world level in front of his home Serbian crowd. Awesome job!! Must have been an amazing experience

Gross drops a weird one to Higuchi, was much closer than the score showed, Seth was actually winning in the middle of the 2nd period. Yianni absolutely mauls Seabass and techs him in less than a minute. Snyder controlled Mohammadian 4-1 to reach the finals. Team USA also clinched the team title as well!

Gross is really surprising me. Of all the men's weights I thought he would be the weak link in the chain, but he is tough. Higuchi is animal though and that will be a very tough matchup for Gross. And if I am being honest I really didn't have Yianni D beating Punia much less tech him.

Another great start for team USA, Seth Gross and Yianni both in the semis with Snyder coming up. Gross just beat 2x world medalist from Turkey and Yianni avenged his loss from worlds last year and also teched Bajrang Punia as well.

  6. Making this with @TysonNisley was not easy. But I just don’t see how the 3 responses all decided to take Bahl completely out of the Top 10. He has won head to head vs Ashton Jackson, Cole Solomey, and somewhere around 3 or 4-1 against demarco. The way he dominated his way to the finals last season at 132 (tech, pin, major) at one of the most loaded weight class last year just to fall short against Zeke Seltzer (who he took down!). I can confidently say Bahl would be a 3x placer if he could of cracked the lineup freshman year but CP had Goin at 106, Frazier at 113, Bettich at 120, Roberson at 126, Mendez at 132, etc.
