Word on the street is UIndy is preparing to vote Sept. 30 to transition from DIi to DI. Would be nice to see another DI in Indiana, although we have a few already that could add their team back. And if anyone missed it Southern Indiana voted to moved to DI back in February. Maybe you Evansville people could get them interred in adding a sport there while we are at it.

Not related, but I think we should start with Grandview.. from NAIA to D1. LOL.

Now I"d click on this one thinking i was getting relevant info on the EN invite. @MUSKEEWRESTLING is relatively new, he'll catch on after his 85th class thread. Cut him some slack. To stay on topic...I'm glad to see women's wrestling moving forward in the state and especially No Cen IN with a potential EN invite.

This Sunday August 28th, Bo Jordan Assistant Coach @ The Ohio State University is our next Bulldog Premier camp clinician. 10am start and 2:30pm finish. CPHS Wrestling Room, 1500 S. Main Street, Crown Point. Coach Jordan was a 4x NCAA Division 1 National All American and a Big Ten Champion! All Camps are 2 sessions back-to-back 10am to noon and 1pm to 230pm Beverage will be provided but bring bag lunch. Cost $65 CPHS wrestling room and all ages are welcomed. Wouldn't be unprecedented, actually. Dallas Baptist are perennial top 25 in D1 baseball and used to be NAIA. They made a brief pit stop at D2 first but transitioned very quickly. Houston Baptist did the same for all sports. Is Grand View baptist?

New Albany just added a Girls 10 team event for 23 December. It is aligned with a 10 team JV boys tournament the same day. 2 Gyms, 5 mats.

Usually the IHSAA follows these guidelines. My educated guess is these will be the weight classes for Girls when it gets sanctioned.
