  1. 106 could definitely have some strong upperclassmen this season which could have multiple seniors which is pretty unusual. I think 3 Freshman at 106 could come in and all contend next season (Isaiah Schaefer, Gavin Jendreas, and Jake Hockaday). My prediction is Indiana will see their second female state qualifier with Juliana Ocampo making it of Fort Wayne and wrestling for New Haven.

  2. @DiscoWhile we will miss Mike, Warren wrestling and all of our athletic teams are in good shape. Pretty excited about the upcoming football season under Coach Kirshner and wrestling is transitioning well under our new head coach Jake O'neill. Good luck Mike....We know we will see you soon!

  3. 220 #1 ranked Christian Carroll will face HWT #1 ranked Ohio State commit Nick Feldman of PA at Who’s #1 in September. Hopefully we will hear soon if Jesse Mendez will agree to appear for his 3rd go at this event.

  4. If Hockaday wrestles like he did vs Seth Mendoza at defense Soap Duals, he'll be tough for anybody to beat!

  5. Wow that’s a packed semi state if even 5 of them go 106. Syra was struggling to make 113 and don’t think 106 is even an option.

  6. I think you have the possibility of two this year alone. Heather Crull. Evansville is going to be a track race at 106. There are lots of possibilities: Schaefer, Hockaday, Rioux, Feeler, Heaston, LaRocca, and Krueger. I don't know their current weights but Syra and Zirkelbach are possibilities. I'm sure I'm forgetting others. Heck, it's a tough row to hoe, but you could throw in fourth female state qualifier in MaKenzie Smith.

  8. Brownsburg is thrilled to announce that Mike Morgan will be joining our staff. Mike has a very credentialed and successful coaching career. He has been a part of 3 IHSAA State Championship teams and an IHSWCA State Championship team. This year as acting Head Coach at Warren Central he guided the team to a 2nd place finish at Dual State, a top 10 finish at IHSAA State, and a runner-up finish at the Disney Duals. We could not be more excited to welcome him to the Brownsburg Wrestling Family! Snyder
