The 29-seed Russi and 17-seed Walton both end up 7th. Spiller and Garcia lost both of their matches as 23rd and 31st seeds.

Our football coach makes the same argument. I thought it was crazy when he first said it, but I now dont know that there isn't some validity. We want football to push kids into wrestling, but as of right now there are only two varsity options for alot of linemen (220 and 285). I have had a lot of kids who are in that 230-245 range that wrestling becomes pretty tough for. Unless you are a pretty solid athelete wrestling 285 when you weigh 245 is a pretty big challenge. I think we would see more football kids coming out if that extra option was added for them.

Angelo Vargo is in 6th grade. Also, was undefeated at NUWAY state based duals.

Hunter Wagner will be attending Penn High School next year.

Keep an eye out for New Castles Tylin Thrine placed at MS state as 6th grader giving Silas foster his only loss at MS state which Silas later Avenged in a Dual.. Tylin is very athletic, unorthodox and never out of a match if there's time left or points left to be had..I gotta feeling ppl will hear his name a lot the next few years.
