MD is finally resembling the MD of the late 90’s and through the early 2000’s. This team is stacked even without their best wrestler Matt Lee. Hope this dominance continues. I didn’t go to MD but a world without MD dominating state so bad that the crowd is MD vs the rest of the state. And MD occupies half of the Market Square Arena.

I think there’s a team up in the region that begs to differ.

Not sure where Crown Point gets its drinkin water. But man deem dogs are Purdy impressive. With all deem youngins dare gonna be Purdy tuff for a while. Nice too see them seeking out good compitions. da rat thought dare better days were behind them. The coaching staff is top notch - like da macho man says " da cream of da crop"

Okay, let me start off with four premises: 1) I'm a homer for Southport, 2) I'm not the person who posted about love for Southport & Franklin Central (but good for them), 3) I am fully aware Southport is not in Perry's constellation (or Brownsburg, MD, Warren, Roncalli, Franklin Community, etc), 4) And most importantly, I do not want to start a flame war. That said, I noticed that Fishers and Franklin Central made the overall ranking at 19 and 20 (Fishers beat Franklin Central 35-32). And again, good for them. But, I want to point out that against common opponents at last weekend's New Castle Duals, Southport was the better of the two. Perhaps they were missing some wrestlers, but nevertheless the scores below might be instructive. I'm not trying to take anything away from Fishers or Franklin Central, but just asking for a measly point or two of consideration for Southport.

If Avon, EMD 1, CHS 2, BB or Warren 3, CP? I think Warren beats Brownsburg and CP.

If MD solves their lack of stud at 120 dilemma, they'll ne just that much stronger. Anyone know if Freeman is dropping to 120?

Hammond schools won't be combining until 21-22 school year

Yea it was a great tournament. Merrillville has done a good job of adding some talented teams over the years. I will be interested to see if Penn varsity or gold comes next year with memorial closing. Also what will happen to Morton with some of the hammond schools Combining.
