I just wanted to say congratulations to my blazers for a great conference win this weekend. We beat Prairie Heights for the first time in 20 years. I was also told this was Prairie Heights first conference duel lose after 71 straight wins. I want to say that Prairie Heights has been the pinnacle of 1a wrestling in the state for years and I have looked at there program as the one to strive to be like. Their coaches and kids were class act during and after the match. This was a great duel with high intensity and I wish all duels would be this exciting. Its what makes wrestling the best sport there is.

Nice work yesterday. Good, competitive dual with some intense matches. Correction on the consecutive wins, actual number is 61, not 71.....I knew that it was getting up there. Thanks for the kind words of our program. You guys have some solid kids that like to scrap.

Triple B-- I don't know you so I can't impugn your character like you did mine. I used a real word, with a real and definite meaning. I do not engage in our current looking-to-be-offended-cancel-culture. Our LIfe Skills students at PH are part of our program as managers. I would never use a word designed to demean a person with a disability. The word is a VERB. The horrible term you refer to is a slang term that I never use and have admonished my wrestlers and football players for using. Hi there. I am Dillon’s dad. Bryce is a tough kid. He actually injury defaulted Dillon out of ISWA state when they were 2nd yr novices. Dillon ended up placing 8th, And Bryce placed 5th, I think. That was the first time Dillon placed there. You registered on this website 6 hrs ago and immediately posted in this thread about this match. That is interesting to me. But yes, the score was 5-1 at Huntington. Like I said, Bryce is a tough kid. Best of luck.

When used as a verb, the word "retard" is appropriate and not offensive. I have not read the document which used the word here, so I won't comment on this particular usage; I'm just saying there is a perfectly appropriate and non-offensive way to use the word "retard". So are we talking about ranking as a recruiting tool or determining who the best in the state is? If your talking recruiting tool then yes i agree. Once I got ranked I started getting colleges contact me and that was great. If we are talking about determining the best in the state. I stand firm they don't matter. Awesome for promoting your program, awesome for recruiting for colleges since we are a one class state. And TripleB knows I was a horrible wrestler so his assessment is prob accurate.

I,m sure there were teams missing some studs as well . Thought my beloved Kingsmen wrestled pretty well with 4 freshmen .

After the brackets came out and being there Saturday it definitely was a down year for the Harvest, but I think awful would be far fetched. Still had some real good matches, including 106 and HWT final.
