  1. Trizton picked up wins 100-102 last evening after tech falling 27-3 solid opponent McCloud from North mont 20-5 to repeat as sagamore conference champion..McClouds only losses were by combined 6 points with one being 4-3 loss vs formerly #1 ranked NC SS ranked PJ sterrett and close loss to todd..Trizton is 23-0 on the season with 114 takedowns in 20 matches wrestled... Im so proud of this young man for his never surrender attitude and for over coming that horrific shoulder injury he had last season! We know the roads gonna get tougher with tourney time starting and Mr.Brewer on the horizon.. Regardless of what happens the kid is having a unreal season and career..I made a promise to my baby brother before he passed away that I would help trizton as much as I could and see to it he wrestles in college and i'm proud that will be a reality..I know y'all might get tired of me tooting the kids horn but he deserves it and has always embraced the underdog role and has never griped about the tough draws and matches he's endured especially last year the ticket round when his shoulder came out 3x vs Fuller while leading the whole match while wrestling with with 1 arm.. good luck to the rest of the wrestlers in their quest for Bankers!

There are a couple weights where 3 have a shot at making it to state. And due to falling to 4th there, a tough kid not even making it out of regional. Bring your A game.

yessir! always been a brewer fan even knowing he has beaten up on my guy and his dad is one most genuine guys I've met in the sport.. but i'm grateful for Brewer cuz it keeps trizton honest knowing down the road a killer like that is lurking! I'm proud of all the kids from the county and knowing that the comp amongst them prepares them all to face the rest of the state.. congrats on Asa's great season as well.. see yall next weekend!

  7. You are wrong about one thing. Tooting a kids horn never gets tiring. Toot away. And congratulations to that young man.

  8. Kid from Lutheran. Don’t want to make excuses but Jake was banged up from football early on in the season. Sprained MCL in the knee and messed up shoulder. The kids that beat him wrestled well though.

  9. Congrats to Trizton! He is the best 182 Jake has wrestled thus far this year! Good luck to him the rest of the year! Btw Jake won the 182# TEC conference tournament last night to improve to 30-4 on the year! Coffman beat Calderon 6-0 in the 170 final.

  13. Many will wait until the final hours to sign up. Tough to make predictions in any year. But especially this year. Don’t know what weight everyone will be going and most weight classes will have tough matchups. Plus, there will be surprises on how far down some of these kids will go. 75- Syra/Demarco/Landen Haines 80- Preston Haines/Billerman/Syra 85- Seng/Foster/Billerman 90- Ison/Hammack/Courtney 95- Lowery/Ison/Leavall 102- Schoeff/Goin/Frazier 110- Lemley/Goin/Gilbert 117- Lemley/May/McConnell 125- May/McConnell 132- Goodwin/Mills/Henry 140- Barr/Goodwin/Myers/Cruz 150- Barr/Goodwin/Myers 160- Carroll/Steinbeke/Willems 175- Jones/??? 220- ??? 275- ???

On a different level and it shows through out the year. I’ve watched all his matches . Didnt matter if your National ranked kid or Indiana, Ohio, Michigan kid. Same results . The Notorious

  15. Ended up being a great 2 team race with Mt Vernon over Pendleton Heights 238-233. Great race right down to the heavy weights! So proud of our boys, all 14 placed and contributed to the team win. This is Mt Vernon's first ever conference title. Coach Masters took home HHC Coach of the Year honors as well. Not too bad for a team that had less than 10 wrestlers just a few years ago!

  20. Great semi state, but holy crap is 113 stacked in this semi state. All 8 guys are awesome. There is 26 ISWA(FK, FS, & GR) titles between these 9th and 10th graders. Majority of them have been battling in the same brackets with each other for many years.
