Y2CJ41
This year we have some wrestlers with plenty of Fargo experience making the jump to the Junior division. De’Alcapon Veazy, Revin Dickman, and Nathan Rioux were all double All-Americans last year at 16U and will look to duplicate that feat this year. Alexander Smith brought back some Greco-Roman hardware last year. Joining those four are many wrestlers that will look to bring back some hardware. State champions Jake Hockaday, Charlie Larocca, Joey Buttler, Orlando Cruz, Kyrel Leavell all should make deep runs in the tournament. Another state champ to watch is Purdue commit Christopher Coates who won three state titles in Missouri. He’s donning Indiana gear for the first time and will be in the mix here. State runner-ups in the field include Gavin Jendreas, Wyatt Krejsa, Reese Courtney, and Cole Chicoine. Ayden Bollinger, Isaac Ash, Brenton Russell, Gunner Henry, and Preston Haines were all in the state semi-finals last year. Others will state medals looking to mix it up with the best in the country include Luke Rioux, Aiden Dallinger, Isaiah Schaefer, Tanner Tishner, Duke Myers, and Anthony Rinehart. Look for this group to have many wrestlers making deep runs in this absolutely loaded field. He’s a Purdue commit so perhaps moving in for his senior year so he falls into the in-state cost option. We’ve seen this with some other people. BrodyHardcastle
Some of these brackets are wild. No way Kyrell should be wrestling Drew Gorman first round. Gorman owns two wins over Logan Frazier. Hockaday gets number 11 ranked cali kid in round two and if he wins he’s gets #12 from Florida who I’m pretty sure beat Jake at Super 32. Just a brutal tournament. Just a brutal tournament. The criteria here doesn’t use common sense. If you are a returning Fargo Placer, US Open Placer, Regional Placer and some other things that is all that is used. If So and So just beat a US Open Placer at Cadet or Junior Duals or somewhere else it plays no part unfortunately. Death Draws all over at this tournament. The Professor Morgan
Kyrel Gorman shouldn’t have happened. Leavell had criteria from central regionals. Not sure what they were doing. BrodyHardcastle
The Professor Morgan
Upon further review, they removed criteria from the regionals other than champion. BrodyHardcastle

BrodyHardcastle
Let’s go Jake! Big 4-4 win over Cortez with a big head pinch with about 30 seconds Mattyb
The Professor Morgan
I don’t disagree. Why not Atleast include them to have slightly better separation. BrodyHardcastle

BrodyHardcastle
Those region guys were already really good but you can see the levels some of those guys are jumping with wrestling with Howe. Awesome to see him on the floor for IN. ontherise219 and TrueRegionFan
TysonNisley
Hockaday vs. Jendreas for a spot on the podium happening in the bloodround. Hate to see the Indiana teamkill, but Jendreas is wrestling great right now, and this matchup is just fire. BrodyHardcastle
BrodyHardcastle
Lots of tough matchups in the blood round for our guys. -Cadet 132- Stanley has the #1 seed that beat him earlier. He fell into a lace early in the match , I like his chances if the match can play out! Cadet 138- MJ Staples has a Utah kid. -Cadet 220- Mccelland has IL kid in bloodround. -Cadet 285- Hartleroad has a tough Utah kid. Junior 145- Coates has ASU commit Pierson Manville, he was 1 second away from upsetting Kannon Webster in the quarters. Junior 182- Veazy has Stanford commit Cole Han-Lindemyer from MN cadet aa’s and semifinalists: Case Bell and Clinton Shepherd (he looked unreal so far) junior aa’s and semifinalists: Brady Byrd, Nate Rioux and Orlando Cruz.
