Girls' Weights for 2023-24

With the changes to the boys' weights for 2023-24, will there be changes to the girls' weights also, or will they remain the same?

While Girls Wrestling isn’t an official IHSAA fully sanctioned sport as of yet, I would assume they would like to keep it in line with the NFHS recommendations incase they move forward with it in the future.  If the IHSGW’s goal is to get the sport sanctioned I would also guess they would want to follow suit for their events too.

14 Weight Classes – 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 155, 170, 190, 235. Here will be the new weights starting the 2023-2024 season.

Thank you. I assume for the girls state event and girl's only events?
