Geraei was wrestling a Bulgarian, Buglarian put into defensive parterre position, but he kept instantly getting up to his feet before ref blew... Giving up 2 points each time... He did it literally 3-4 times until he gave up 3 cautions and lost. Was pretty comical.

kkiane
Iman Mohammadi loses on criteria to Mammadov, and now Mammadov faces his brother Aref. Does this mean that Aref has made the team?
The Genius
Mammadov takes out both brothers, although Iman clearly performed better against him. Neither brother is really ready to compete for medals at senior level yet in my opinion, but they are very young and still great prospects. LJB
Mammadov is an old lion… he saw his chance and took it in that deep body lock… fair play to him… clearly, I Mohammadi carried the entire match except for a 1 second exchange, but, he is still so young he will learn… he may want to start looking into some par terre… regardless, the kid is still the truth…
kkiane
Yousefi loses to Ghasemi, sad to see him like this. Mirzazadeh is currently the better wrestler, and our best medal chance
kkiane
Dadmarz pins Javaheri. Dadmarz is really good, and he’s only improving.
The Genius
It really sucks to see Yousefi fall off a cliff like this. He has lost more matches since becoming world champ than all his tournaments before that. Fortunately we have Mirzazadeh who is a solid medal contender. Imentalab did well at 72kg, Abdi unfortunately could not build on his recent junior/U23 success but he is still very young. Mohmadi defeated Poshtam at 82kg which is great considering his age but I don't think he's a world medal threat yet.
