SWINfan
A quick note for those that don't know, the World Team Trials are coming up in a few weeks. Wrestlers who medaled automatically get a spot in the World Team at that weight, if they want to compete the World Championships. So those weights will not be wrestled at the Trials. Taylor and Snyder, I believe have already said they are in. Dake possibly as well. That will force guys like Jordan Burroughs, Jason Nolf, etc to adjust weights. A side note: Jordan Oliver has said he'll be going to 70kg, not 65kg base and Wrestling Scholar

Also if any medal winners at Tokyo want to change weights for worlds they also would be put in the semifinals match at try outs. So far Jacarra Winchester is the only one taking this option. She is moving from 53k to 55k.
Disco
For the men in free style, only Gilman and Steveson have not indicated they will attend the worlds in Oslo. They have until today. If this holds, there will be wrestle offs in these weights at trials.

Y2CJ41
The only medalist that has declined is Steveson. The other 8 medalists from Tokyo are wrestling at Worlds!
Disco
And in the scheme of things, wrestling aside, Gable has nothing to gain at the worlds. If he does what he says he’s going to do. A loss would be deviating for he persona. He’s in a good place right now. Why risk it.
Wrestling Scholar
Im speculating, but maybe Gable is at a MMA gym learning some Boxing, Brazilian JuJitsu and Muay Thai.
