Sophomore year he moved to New Prairie but was denied eligibility because of a IHAA transfer issue. They appealed the decisions with the IHSAA, but it was denied. Not getting into the semantic of those athletes who seem to be approved by IHSAA and those who don't. But had a stellar off season at national events. Junior Year he ready to go for New Prairie.
