With that being said, that is how brothers Matt and Connor Grimson both qualified at the same weight and took 1st and 2nd at their conference. Also winning conference titles where Blake Mulkey, Brice Coleman, Elliot Rodgers, Kolby Ferris, Jack Servies, and Jarod Swank. With the exception of Jarod Swank, who competed in the Mid-South Conference, all of the other Indiana Natives competed in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. This was the first year of this conference where Indiana Tech beat Marian in the team race by a score of 163.5 to 144. formercollegekid
Gimson brothers are both all Americans at the same weight during the same year. Gotta be record... or at least a very short list GG19

maligned
Yeah, Gimsons and Mulkey in the semis this morning. I think everyone else is eliminated. Really rough last couple of consi rounds for Indiana natives last night. Lots of agonizingly close losses preventing AA status. GG19
navy80
Interesting.. #1seed Gimson goes down in semi finals but his brother wins and advances to the finals. That’s so cool to see the brothers doing well at the same weight.
maligned
Tough pill to swallow for #1 Matt Gimson, who gets upset 8-6 in the semi's and ends up 3rd with 5 falls in his 5 wins. Meanwhile, #3 Conner struggles through a couple tight ones and reaches the final. Mulkey ends up 4th.
