PMFAN Posted February 25, 2021 Share Posted February 25, 2021 Obviously Mater Dei deserved coach of the year after winning Team State and Individual State, but just wanna give a quick shoutout to the PM coaches. Turning 3 state qualifiers last year to 9 this year. Toby Billerman wasn’t even on the varsity squad last year and continued to place 3rd at state this year. Jakob Sheets, Jajuan Dale, and Jeff Mcclure all did not make it past the first round of Semi-State their previous 3 years of HS and proceeded to get 4th, 4th, and SQ. Great job Lots of great coaches and giving it to only one is never easy. The coach and wrestler of the year awards are determined by the trust of IndianaMat and we had some good discussions on almost every award.
