Girls qualifying for boys regional

I was trying to figure out all the girls who qualified for boys’ regionals at sectional this past weekend. By my account, there are six of them. The top three place winners from girls’ state this year at 106 (Bilz, Smith, Pol), top two from 113 (Buchanan, Kaplan), and top one from 120 (Campbell). Does anyone know if I’m missing someone?

 

106: Kelsey Bilz (2^nd place, Jennings County sectional)

106: Makenize Smith (2^nd place, Castle sectional)

106: Hurshal Pol (4^th place, Lafayette Jeff sectional)

113: Torieonna Buchanan (2^nd place, Bloomington North sectional)

113: Rose Kaplan (4^th place, Lafayette Jeff sectional)

120: Cailin Campbell (3^rd place, Crawfordsville sectional)

Congrats to the two (Bilz, Buchanan) who punched on through to semi-state! I think that doubles Indiana's previous total for girls SS qualifiers (Miracle, Hildebrandt). I may be forgetting some, but no one else comes to mind.

Always a wonderful sight to see the sport grow. Congratulations to these females athletes on their wins and their impact on girls wrestling in Indiana

Kendra Shipman of Centerville was 1st at the Sectional. Only one in the weight class. Lost a close match at regional.
