Big wins for our IN boys and it's really awesome to see Indiana boys having other in state talent, this state has really stepped up pumping out Not only D1 studs but through every Level in college. Anybody know how the blubaugh vs Mason match was giving before the pin? I always liked Blubaugh and Mason is a D2 national champ..A pin didn't always mean the guy that came up short wasn't doing well and just fell victim to a big move.

On Sunday, Eli Dickens lost 7-6 to George Walton of Rider at 184lb. Walton is ranked 24th by Trackwrestling. Dickens bumped up to 184 for this match. He also won 3-2 in his extra match against Shane Reitsma at his normal weight of 174lb.

Good catch!  I didn't know George Mason had started

  • 2 weeks later...

PSU vs Wisconsin happened this afternoon.

Nick Lee kept doing Nick Lee things. After a quick takedown and escape, Lee gets another quick takedown. Ahead 4-1, he exposes the back three times for 4 a pop to end it 16-1 in the first.

Joe Lee got a quick takedown and escape and then another quick takedown. Stop me if you've heard this. Lee only gets 2 near fall before the escape. Another quick takedown is followed by 4 more near fall and the first period ends 12-2. It got a lot slower after that with Lee getting ridden for the whole third period and it ends 12-3 Lee.

Chad Red pins Cayden Rooks in 1 minute. Shows the young frosh there are levels to college wrestling!

IU loses to MSU 28-10 and gets smoked by Nebraska 47-0.

Nick South over Jake Tucker 5-0.

DJ Washington beats Hughes 16-3. I figured he'd get the W but dang! DJ then lost to #2 ranked Labrolia 13-7.

Purdue loses to Iowa 18-31 and Ohio State 12-23. I only remember one Indiana wrestler getting a win and that was 197 Thomas Penola against OSU. He lost to Iowa's #5 ranked Warner 9-4.

Wabash, Trine, and Manchester were supposed to have a tournament but I cant find results.

Remember Manzona Bryant? He wrestles for Lehigh now.

For Army, Christian Hunt and Brad Laughlin got a win in exhibition.

PSU at Michigan

No Stevan Micic again for Michigan.

Nick Lee "held" to a decision over Drew Mattin. Mattin in reverse so hard in the third period trying to avoid the major that he gets called for the rare stall while in neutral.

Joe Lee struggles to get off bottom in the third to lose 4-1. A lot more action than scoring.

Mason Parris too athletic and strong for Seth Nevills takes it 12-2.

Chad red pulls out a crazy win vs Illinois#14 Duncan.. Was down 1 and riding time in Duncan's favor with 20 seconds red hits a granby into a crazy scramble putting Duncan in his back for rev and 2bks.. Red was down big after a apparently giving up backs until the brick came in and wiped them away.. Red gave up a reversal and almost bks at the buzzer and barely erased the  riding time point to win 4-3! It's on YouTube I highly suggest you watch this crazy ending.
