I could be wrong on this but I don't think they  "get" rings, I think they have to pay for them, I believe team state champs, team runners up individual champions and runners up are able to buy rings. Usually there will be a donation by a group that will pay for them but I don't think the IHSAA pays for them.

Usually most High Schools pays for them only if it’s “IHSAA” State Finals . (Individual & Team) Champs or Runner- Ups 
 

IHSCWA Events - gotta pay for yourself. Most schools are only affiliated with IHSAA .

 Last part 😂, might bankrupt them if they pay for them.
