maligned
Here's the 2A Team State qualification leaderboard through sectional. These scores are somewhat meaningful, although there are many more points up for grabs the next couple weeks in this class. Teams a little down on the leaderboard with a high number of kids left can still make significant moves. Coach Nieman
I know these are out of date now, but I thought I'd bump them anyway.
maligned
Now thru regional. New "pts available" column is talking about the points each team has available this weekend: Edited February 11, 2020 by maligned FCFIGHTER170
chambers
How are the "pts available figured? For example Mt. Vernon has 6 wrestlers left. Only one is a senior and the other five are underclassmen. The list has them with 0 pts available. Trev Young and djackson0944
nkraus
Garrett should have 40 points available this weekend.
maligned
Sorry, there were a bunch of 2A teams that had the "points available" off by one row in the original non-sorted list. I'll re-post as soon as I can early this morning. Edited February 11, 2020 by maligned nkraus

maligned
Updated through Semi-State. Non-seniors get a half point upgrade this weekend for reaching 7th, then 5th, then runner-up, then champ. Seniors are done scoring in this class. The Top 9 here plus New Castle (4 semi-state highest scores and next 6 highest scores) are in automatic bid territory. New Haven through Monrovia are currently in vote-in territory. New Haven would own the tiebreaker over Norwell for the last automatic bid by virtue of most non-seniors if they managed another point this weekend. * = Injury information added in. maligned
The most exciting thing that happened in Team State qualification this weekend was Elijah Chacon picking up an SV victory in the first round and a tight 8-6 win in the quarters. Had he lost either, New Haven would have stayed in the vote-in pool. But he got a final point for his team and pulled them even with Norwell where they own the tiebreaker and will get an automatic bid (pending final double checks of everything). maligned
Through State: Blue = automatic bids Green = vote-in consideration * = injury information included "Forfeits" = forfeits at sectional "Return" = returning sectional starters (plus injury-point individuals)

tskin
So is it teams that fall within 15 points of the last team in blue, which are automatic bids, that are considered for vote in for other two spots?
maligned
Within 15 of first team in green are eligible for both vote-in spots. Within 15 of the second green team are eligible for the final spot.
