SWINfan
Here is a nice interview on the BaschaMania podcast, covering a variety of topics. It's 42 minutes long with Nick on for roughly 35 of them. A couple of things that stood out to me. 1. Nick doesn't say a whole lot in specifics, but I hear a potential future coach when listening to him about his approach. 2. I'm paraphrasing, but one comment that stuck out to me was when he was asked about the Penn State room and whether it was the best. He said that he couldn't speak on every other room in the country, but he didn't know of another place that he could walk into and get his butt kicked every single day. He then went on to talk about working to get better. Look up BaschaMania where ever you get podcasts or go to baschamania.com. The guy has interviewed Jason Nolf, Retherford, Spencer Lee, Jordan Oliver and a who's who of wrestling. IU89
wrestlenewbie
Thanks for sharing. I was also struck by the conscious effort not to focus on the outcome. The real focus is on the work and doing everything you are capable of doing. If you see to that the outcomes will take care of themselves.
