Any predictions?  Or is it always the time since Mater Dei will run through the tournament?  They might only lose 2 matches the whole day.

I think you have 1-3 decent finals matches from all other teams combined against MD from 106-182.  Central probably wins 195. 220/285 snoozers.

106 West is the favorite against Egli

113 through 160- Mater Dei should win first in all of them.

170-Deters vs Sollars will be a good one.

182- MD wins

195- MD will lose once...possbily twice

220-MD could lose once

285-MD could lose once, possibly twice

I could see 4 to 7 losses by Mater Dei-

i agree as well.  i see MD winning 106-220.  MD's 195 will give the Central kid everything he wants and do  believe MD's 195 will come out on top. Biggest question will be if HWY will win it for 14 straight champs.  Has that ever been done before?

Biggest question is if McGrew, MD's 195 will even get to Kemper from Central?

Is anyone allowed to say what happened in the MD-Reitz match at that weight last week?  Did McGrew and Brickey wrestle?

I agree that West is the favorite over Egli, despite Egli winning early in the season.  But it might be a 51/49 deal.

I liked what I saw in Memorial's Keegan Williams at 120.  He's not ready to win over Freeman, but I look forward to see how far he can go in his freshman year  My understanding is he has been training at MCWC for awhile and shouldn't be intimidated by increased competition.

I also like Memorial's Aiden Farmer, a SS qualifier last year.  Dickens and Purdy in front of him make the road from here tougher.

MD has 11 in the finals

I think the only surprises here, at least as far as MD is concerned is that John McGrew did not wrestle at 195 and James Ralph went two and out at 285.

Dickens beat Purdy 6-2, so a tighter match this time.
Deters beats Sollars 7-4
