First huge win for Indiana today, Evan Bates takes out 6th ranked Noah Petiggrew. Pettigrew beat Silas at Akron, but Silas had a broken elbow for that match.

Pettigrew was also a Fargo champ last year. Huge win!!!

KT Nelson has a big match against Levi Haines next. Flo is big Haines, so it will be nice to get this one for KT.

Surprised to see Mendez down at 120 here. He’s an absolute stud and has many accolades to his name, but did he not go 126 due to his nemesis Nic Bouzakis is running wild there?

Mendez isn't wrestling, he's preparing for Wolds at the end of the month.

DUH!! This isn’t my 1st time in getting the names mixed for some odd reason. I’m guessing it’s due to following so many of them and they’re all doing crazy good. I believe it’s been a while since Indiana was really this impressive with so many young guys wrestling so well at such a high stage and excelling.

Bates is the real deal. Big fan of that kid. Big couple years ahead for that kid. Great job young fella.

Zeke done it. He built a nice lead and held on to beat the defending Wisconsin state champ Nicolar Rivera to make the finals. Congrats and best of luck in the finals.

Cernus falls in consos to the same wrestler he beat in the champ round and is done.

Nice win for Lowery as he takes out Konderhandt(Il). Konderhandt finished 2nd in 3a for Illinois state title. He’s a bit of a hot head as I remember him for the EMD Classic last year.

Little also advances

Rough day for the Indiana kids. Pretty surprised to see only three All Americans for the cadets, but Zeke Seltzer and Evan Bates have looked really good this tournament. Hopefully these two finalists and the juniors finish out strong
