Zionsville RTC - Thursday (6:00-7:30pm)

Recommended Posts

Zionsville Community High School will hold an RTC Thursday's from 6:00-7:30pm.

Our first clinician is Scott Hinkel! An All-American and Academic All-Big Ten wrestler in 1987, he graduated with a liberal arts degree in 1988. He still ranks first in career falls (45) and second in career wins (127). He was the Purdue Wrestling assistant coach for 13 years, and head wrestling coach for 7 years.

Scott was my head coach for 3 years at Purdue University. The technique he taught was awesome, but more impressive is the life lessons he instilled in all of his athletes! If you're looking for a workout that will test you mentally, and physically you should show up this upcoming Thursday!

Thanks to coach Jason Warthan for running our RTC workout. Great drilling, technique, live wrestling, and most importantly a talk about character.

Our next Zionsville RTC technician is Luke Welch. Luke has a wealth of freestyle knowledge, and has had a ton of success at the freestyle national level! He was the 2017 USA Wrestling University Nationals 57 kg national champion, 2 time USA Wrestling University Nationals All-American, & Luke has really cool twin brothers. Rumor on the street is that he is wrestling at the U.S. Open this year. Come learn from a great technician, and an even better person!
