The wall
ETA on brackets? And is it blind draw after the top 8... or will they have the top 2 get a bye and go 14v3, 13v4...etc?

Final seeding meeting is Friday the 8th so the seeds should be finalized and brackets released that afternoon or evening. Within certain criteria, seeds can still change. Wrestling starts Saturday morning.
navy80
I was hoping Lee would get the first seed so he could avoid McKenna until the finals. If the seeds hold, I can see Red upsetting Carr and making the finals. IU89

Wrestling starts Saturday morning. The pre-seeds are done by all 14 coaches submitting their ranks. At the seeding meeting Friday, if a wrestler is within 3 points of another, his coach can make the case why the seeds should change. Not sure how points are determined from the original submissions. I think it is pretty rare to see changes from pre-seed to seed.

And they will have wrestling to 9th place in those weights (125, 141, 157 and 165). Weights with fewer than 9 auto qualifiers get seeded to 8. By if the seeds hold do you mean through the final seeding meeting? Because with the way the seeds are currently, Carr gets a 1st rd bye & if Red beats Lipari then he faces Carr in the 2nd round. And I agree, Red certainly has the skills to upset Carr. He got as good a draw as could have been hoped for being opposite Lee & McKenna (the 2 best at this weight IMO).
