UncleJimmy
I'm a huge WAYL2 kinda guy.....Laplace lost to Alex Facundo 5-3 back in Oct...I believe Facundo is now 3rd in the US at 160. Anything can happen but I would be surprised if Laplace is majored. Penn04, ontherise219 and Bruins2013

Cooper160
Brewer majors him, if he doesn’t finish him. Nothing against Laplace, but brewer is that good. Bruins2013

That is correct, technically there is a point added in the UTB if you ride your opponent out. piscis1956 and AlaskanMountie 1

Wow True but there is a big difference in 160 right before the season to 182 now. I'm still sticking with Brewer if not by major than decisively. RaiderColfax
Yeah I don’t see a major coming out of this one, Brewer is good. But so is Laplace. Let’s not forget that Laplace has been here before also and has placed. piscis1956 and Bruins2013

As I said before one person was excited to get word he was in the state tournament and the other may have not been so happy to see the switch that took place. P4P 8th in the nation is a whole different scenario then a 14th ranked guy in a weight class. It should be a very competitive match. Laplace isnt a typical alternate and was ranked 2 in the state for a reason. FWwrestling1996 and RaiderColfax

There's weight classes for reasons and idc if he was p4p #1, 22 pounds of muscle and technique on a nationally ranked guy @182 is way different than wrestling a great 160 pounder.. since we are using wrestling math Brewer teched Bates over the summer and Bates beat laplace...I'm not questioning laplace skills I'm questioning The logic in comparing results vs a 160 and possible outcome vs a Nationally ranked 182. Oh, FC.....since we can't compare results of a (top 3 nationally ranked) 160 to a 182 pounder, why are you able to then compare results of a FREESTYLE tech to a FOLKSTYLE state match? Be consistent, bro...So I guess if the logic in comparing 160 to 182 can be questioned, then Freestyle results to Folkstyle can certainly be questioned as well? Would you concur with that thesis? And I'm not hating on @Mattyb , he knows who I am, so I can debate him! I have no idea who will win, but again, I'd be surprised by a major decision.
