No clue what is happening in the Clay Singleton - Gabe Sollars match.  Track showed Singleton ahead 4-0 into the 3rd period and now has Sollars winning 7-1.

Sollars dominated from start to finish.

Sollars match was all Sollars. Singleton got his only point when Sollars jumped the set up twice.

what is the record for most points scored by a team in a sectional?

Not sure about records, but 5 teams surpassed the 300 point mark today.

1. Merrilville             345.5
2. Columbus East    324
3. Warren Central    322
4. Perry Meridian     313
5. Mater Dei             306.5

Crown Point (294.4) and Penn (293.5) got close.

Looks like Mater Dei dominated from start to finish.  lost one match in final round.

That’s a state record 42 consecutive sectional titles.

Boonville almost upset Castle in the team race 238-248.5.

Did Boonville have a great day?  Castle had a so-so day?  both?

Boonville has some hammers. But here’s a few key misses by Castle

1) Hayhurst missing weight cost them points at 113 plus a tough wrestler for the state series.

2) Scott(HH) dominates Casebolt. Most importantly, Casebolt finishes the day walking with an iced ankle. Hoping all is well going into regionals.

3) Castle puts 8 inthe finals and came out with 4 champs. Boonville put 5 in and came away 4 champs and 2 of them came against Castle.

Carroll sectional heavyweight Muncie of Carroll beat Leeper of East Side in the finals, didn't get to see it, was wondering if it was a fluke or not

It was a fluke, I pinned him four times this week in practice.

Then why you duckin Poppe?!?  You should have confidence heading toward SS 😂.   @Sword it was not a fluke.  Looks to be a match that could go either way.  Muncie came out on top today.

Not a fluke.  2 Big strong HWTs with much respect for one another and it went Muncie's way today.  Hopefully we see the grudge match (Leeper won 1st match) next week at Regionals!

Jay County Sectional 195 Finals

Unranked Chandler Chapman Jay County over State #7 Cale Gray Norwell 12-11

That was one of many great matches. I was surprised AC won without a closer margin with not having 106 or 113 today. 7 different schools with a champion was great to see as well.
