Question is, what changes will show up?

Who will move up or down in weight?

Will Cole Ross be able to go for Mater Dei?

Will anyone be missing?

If you click on a sectional's bracket link, then click the button in track that says "information" (center of blue buttons) there will be an option that says "deadlines." which will show when brackets will be released to public. Looks like default setting is Friday morning...or there are several stingy tournament organizers out there.

The Friday morning time is per Robert Faulkens.

It seems odd to wait more than a day or two and thats would only be to ensure something wasn’t messed up in the seeding process.  He does know many of the other IHSAA tournament drawing get released over the IHSAA internet TV broadcast right after they have occurred.  Not sure why our sport should wait until the day before our event to release the information to the public and media.  Doesn’t seem like it helps anyone involved to wait that long.

Avon Sectional is posted

Maybe I’m missing something, but how did Burdon at 22-3 end up as a 3 seed. Any clarification on this?

Are these other sectionals going to be in hot water for changing?

Sectional brackets have always (at least the last several years) been posted the night of the seeding meetings.  Probably a Track Wrestling thing.  The later deadline is possibly a final deadline from the pre-TW days?

From what I can see common opponent Reynolds may have been the deciding factor. Burdon is listed as losing to him while Ison won.  Would seem like they could have had have other commons opponents though but who know.  In some cases though it’s a moot point to argue the seed to far if you as a coach believe your wrestler will make it to the semi-finals, so they can wrestle it out head to head.

Ison of Brownsburg beat Reynolds of Avon. Reynolds beat burdon.  Dalton of Ben Davis beat Ison. That’s why 145 is the way it is.

Thanks coach. Wasn’t aware of the head to head matches they had. Best of luck to you and the guys

Damn, you beat me by seconds!

Also, Jacob Pierson, not Dakx Lannert in at 182 for MD.

No surprise but Fitts is also out and Sollars is in. Fitts was a SS qualifier last year
