Wrestling Scholar
I saw Harrison (West Lafayette) had a dominant 46-22 win over #18 ranked Hamilton Southeastern. At 160 Merkel beat #10 Hiner 3-2 At HWY Crider won in Ultimate tiebreaker over Kunkleman. Didn't have a score. ontherise219
Ed Pendoski
Lots of broken hearts and crushed dreams in the past World Championships of the World! haha We were impressed with all 4 heavys at McCutcheon this past weekend. 6 heavy matches in a triple dual...and all 6 were fun to watch. I agree with Coach P here. We came up with some heartbreakers (both in OT or UTB) at this weight, but all 4 guys went after it and wrestled really well. Wouldn't be surprised to see all again very deep into the tourney. Rough day for us against Harrison (and Carmel). They came out to wrestle and beat us in like 7 straight by decision. Very evenly matched teams, but they were much more mentally tough Saturday, kudos to them! Back to the drawing board for us to get ready for North Montgomery Holiday Duals! Must of been entertaining, but the rules say if any team from the Logansport regional gets a top 20 win, then they get the extra gold star for the week or the toot of the horn. Its good to see Harrison taking on tough HCC opponents like the old days before they got expelled out of the conference.

Fatboy1111
That Jacob Maldonado win over Isaiah Watts, was a upset at 145, Watts had a back injury. No excuses for Watts, he was on the mat...
