tskin
has IHSAA waived this weigh in or is this being run as an ISWA meet this year? My girl is our Varsity 106lber and ran into the issue last year where she couldn't go because of season points and this event would put her over the 18 point min before sectionals making her ineligible. Ironbear
No they will still be charged 2pts for this tourney. No the ISWA doesn't run the tourney.

Holden
So, the girls register themselves on trackwrestling like an ISWA meet? Also, I assume you just register for the one you are closest to (ie Greenfield would go to Franklin)? Thanks

If their high school boys wrestle in the New Castle or Evansville Semi State then they wrestle in the south at Franklin Community High School. If their boys wrestler in the Ft Wayne or the East Chicago Semi State then they wrestle at Maconaquah High School in the north. Holden

Ironbear
Remember, if your boys wrestle wrestled in the New Castle or Evansville Semi State you would register your girls for the South Regional. If your boys wrestle in the Ft Wayne or East Chicago Semi State then your girls would register for the North.

In past years they have been able to. If they are overweight they just move them up a weight class so as not to deny participation to any girl. I believe this was the case. decbell1
Great event, very glad to be a part of it, but extremely disappointed that media were not allowed in to cover this great event without paying the $7 entry fee nkraus
nkraus
When can we register our girls for state if they qualified at the Regional?
Ironbear
No you do not have to do anything. We will input the top 4 into the brackets and release them soon. As far as media were you in the north when that happened?
decbell1
Yes, I was pretty upset with the ladies taking tickets, they probably remember me. I did appreciate there being WiFi available tho, I was able to submit my story and photos for our papers Saturday edition
Y2CJ41
I'm curious as to how an organization or group of people want to get more media coverage, but force the media to pay for entry into an event. Even at local dual meets media do not need to pay admission. Bigyusm and throw45
