Lost to Jay 43-25 and Bellmont 43-33 in duals. This should be a close team race, may drive over there to watch this one.
AJ 180 Posted January 24, 2018 Is the #1 seed at 182 really a freshman with a 3-3 record? Or is there a typo somewhere? 1 wrestleliferfan reacted to this
SWwrestling 48 Posted January 24, 2018 That is correct grade and record. He has a big win over Martz from Woodlan that seemed everyone else at that weight lost to.
SWwrestling 48 Posted January 24, 2018 Team Race should be close and exciting!! I'm not ready to count Bellmont out just yet. They always have kids in their lineups that put it together and make a run at a Sectional championship. Hurts them with out Shaw at heavyweight.
Wrestling_Wrestler16 15 Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) 106 - Miller (SA) 113 - Zadylak (NORW) 120 - Mosser (AC) 126 - Lawson (BELL) 132 - Liter (AC) 138 - Fiechter (SW) 145 - Ruble (BELL) 152 - Macklin (AC) 160 - Winner (JC) 170 - Freidt (BELL) 182 - Collier (AC) 195 - Berlanga (AC) 220 - Schumm (AC) - should be a really good match between Schumm and Hare 285 - Hughes (BLUF) I don't see a whole lot of upsets as far as champs go. You don't see many upsets as far as champs go. I do think most 1's will win.
Thor 317 Posted January 24, 2018 I think most one seeds win here, I'm thinking only 2 or 3 non 1 seeds win

WadeDuPont 22 Posted January 24, 2018 3 minutes ago, MOWrestler said: Subsequently, this does not make for a very exciting discussion I agree, I think the exciting thing about this sectional is actually in the wrestle backs. In regards to the team race those matches will be big, as well as bonus points in those matches. Its not like the Delta sectional where one team is going to have at least half the champions and run away with the team title.
84headhunter 57 Posted January 24, 2018 Baumgartner SA very capable of winning. Him and Schumm will be a good match, then the winner of that will have another great match. Excited for this class!

The freshman has “a” win over Martz, not sure how big it is if it brought him to .500 Cale Gray is tough, and I look to see him battle tough at this weak weight class. Having a freshmen with a 3-3 record as a #1 seed is a very interesting thing...
Thor 317 Posted January 25, 2018 Where's collier been all season? According to ac's wrestling site, he only wrestled at the conference duals where he beat Martz. Was he injured all year?

twoooo293116 10 Posted January 26, 2018 106- Miller 113- Zadylak 120- Mosser 126- Harris 132- Perry 138- Fiechter 145- Mounsey 152- Macklin ( I believe Hemmelgarn will keep it close) 160- Winner 170- Chapman ( He's crafty and could pull out the win against Friedt) 182- Frasher 195- Lykins 220- Hare ( Hare vs Schumm alone will be worth the price of the ticket) 285- Baronick Team Race 1. JC ( if they come to wrestle) 2. Bellmont 3. AC Three different team champs on three different days. Gonna be fun one to watch.
