Justin Ratliff
16 Teams at Beech Grove HS this weekend. Great awards, team parade, announcer, finals face off and spotlight for the finals matches! There are going to be some battles for the top 4 spots in some of the weight classes. It sounds like there are some potential bracket busters too. Should be an exciting weekend of youth wrestling. There are also 4 top 8 team from ISWA Team State: Center Grove 1, Southside Wolverines 3, New Palestine 4, and Franklin Central 6 (Perry came in at #10 as well) Anyone care to make any predictions for the team race top 5 and finals match ups? Dolbydude
Agreed with Ratliff, 105 is a tough bracket. Been back and forth all season. Correction to 65 lb Varsity predictions......Gunner Butt should be shown as New Pal. (However we all know where he started...Take that!!!). Good Luck everyone and have some fun with this tournament. V and M's Dad
Big thanks to Ryan Williams and all of the Beech Grove volunteers for hosting a great tournament. Really cool with the Parade of teams, Spotlight and Finals face off. Our parents, wrestlers and coaches really enjoyed it. WrestlingDad1
There were several surprises and lots of tough wrestling. The tournament was exactly as billed though. It was run effectively and efficiently. Fantastic awards! Outstanding job to Ryan and host BG. This is the kind of tournament that keeps kids in the sport. If you missed it, you will definitely want to get in next year! Justin Ratliff
HawkeyeNation
The BEST tournament I have ever attended. The FACEOFF under the lights was amazing!!! The medals, charts and plaques were awesome as well!! Great job Ryan and Beech Grove! I really like the IWL but would like the league to start after the duals team state and run until mid-March. Mid week or weekend triple / quad duals would reduce spending weekends sitting in a gym for 2 or 3 matches.
