Peyton Pruett Center Grove up 14-0 in 2nd period on Franklin kid at Johnson County tournament with his team down and him having a chance to win 145 and the match for the team gets DQ for punching the Franklin kid. Cost himself the championship and lost the match for the team.

You are forgetting to mention a lot of the details from the situation. The Franklin kid fill out head butted Pruett first. Pruett cross faced him.

The Franklin freshman wrestler was on bottom near the out of bounds on the side of the mat in front of me, with Pruett on top of him leading 14-0. The Franklin wrestler jerked his head back into Pruett’s face. Pruett then hit the Franklin kid in the back of the head with a closed fist. There was no “cross face” . . .

There were two refs working the match. They conferred and made their decision (head butt on Franklin kid, flagrant on Pruett) that led to Pruett being disqualified.

Both should've been DQ imho... make adjustments not tantrums
