Seems like LC has been separating the chaff from the wheat (see what I did there?) in bringing in better teams and telling teams with partial squads to hit the bricks (notice the lack of the Hammond schools except for one).  Expect this trend to continue.  I'd like to see another Illinois team or two as well.  BR has been a force every year since their arrival in the wake of Yates, the Johnsons, and Coach Bill Weick (RIP).

I just wish schools didn't have to move kids in to have a successful program.

Perry does have one move in that I can confirm.  Ceu moved here from the Chin State in third grade I think.  I can't remember Coach Schoettle went over there and got six or eight guys. ???

Do to out of jurisdiction to the IHSAA I will comment. One of our new coach who was a head coach from another School last year has been over seas in Myanmar for the past three months. He has been offered many coaching jobs in the region. He has been recruiting and working with Red Cross. Many middle school age (14-16 year olds) kids. Be ready for same OLD Perry Meridian.
