bluechipper
The Indianapolis Star used to publish one of these lists after the state finals, but it hasn't in recent years. bluechipper
Why would mulkey not be next in line at 126? I don't know why or how I slipped him. I must have been thinking of Alec's lone loss. Cut me some slack Fabio. It was late. MOWrestler
Interesting. How are you defining "Indianapolis area"? I'm surprised we have not heard back about what a #TheCounty 'super-team' would look like (though clearly a lot like a Brownsburg dual team). How would a #TheCounty Team compare to a super-dual team from the rest of the state? And score out the dual...
JMILL
well if you look at the above list there are only 3 weight classes where there is not a #TheCounty kid listed as a 1st or 2nd teamer..........so with that said the score of the dual is #TheCounty super team 66-----the Indianapolis Super team 18 if you go state wide the margin gets closer but still a wide victory for #TheCounty super team !!!!! There is a reason that the new center of wrestling is #TheCounty **this message paid for and sponsored by Nick Weisjahn with the #TheCounty chamber of commerce

How would a #TheCounty Team compare to a super-dual team from the rest of the state? And score out the dual... I define the "Indianapolis area" based upon the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Also, you pose an intriguing question for #TheCounty. If it were a Dapper Dan-type scenario, how would #TheCounty fare versus the rest of Indiana? Seniors, I'll add at that. Team #TheCounty 106 - Drake Campbell of Brownsburg 113 - Asa Garcia of Avon 120 - Ty Mills of Brownsburg 126 - Blake Mulkey of Brownsburg 132 - Mason Miranda of Avon 138 - Nathan Conley of Avon 145 - Brayton Lee of Brownsburg 152 - Jacob Clark of Avon 160 - Carson Brewer of Avon 170 - Anthony Cicciarelli of Brownsburg 182 - Nathan Walton of Brownsburg 195 - Isaac McCormick of Brownsburg 220 - Gunnar Larson of Avon 285 - Rickie Clark of Brownsburg *NOTE: Yes, I KNOW Isaac was a medalist at 220, but he also wrestle 195 for the first half of the season if I remember, and for #TheCounty's sake, it gives them their best chances for the super dual! Lol Team Indiana 106 - Logan Stephenson of Terre Haute South 113 - Skylour Turner of Warren Central 120 - Sunny Nier of Perry Meridian 126 - Alec White of New Palestine 132 - Breyden Bailey of Cathedral 138 - Brendan Black of Hobart 145 - Jason Crary of Munster 152 - Kyle Hatch of Warsaw 160 - Brad Laughlin of Yorktown 170 - Eli Stock of Monrovia 182 - Jacob Gray of Delta 195 - Andrew Davison of Chesterton 220 - Corbin Maddox of Daleville 285 - Evan Ellis of Eastern (Greentown) Opie's creampie
SIACfan
Why is it only seniors? He wanted to know how team "TheCounty" would compare to a super-dual team from the rest of the state. Considering there is only one champ this year from #TheCounty, Team Indiana would consist of 13 State Champs & one runner-up. MOWrestler
MD92
Why only seniors for the IN team? You have underclassmen of the county team. Pretty easy, take the state champs at aren't from the county and line them up against the county all stars. Curtis dec Campbell 3-0 Team IN Garcia dec Viduya 3-3 Rooks dec Mills 6-3 Team IN White dec Mulkey 9-3 Bailey maj Miranda 13-3 Black pin Conley 19-3 B. Lee tech Crary 19-8 J. Lee pin Clark 25-8 Laughlin dec Brewer 28-8 Stock dec Ciccarelli 31-8 Walton dec Gray 31-11 Davison maj McCormick 35-11 Parris maj Larson 39-11 Ellis pin Clarke 45-11 County loses this one. Bonus points likely would be different and there are a couple of toss ups there, but this is how I see it playing out.

XCard
My best shot at Da Region Team 106 - Hollis 113 - Peele 120 - Triana 126 - DeLaPena 132 - Reitz 138 - Black 145 - Crary 152 - LaMore 160 - Lemley 170 - Fattore 182 - Davison 195 - Davison 220 - Pokerney 285 - Streck That is going with who won the final meeting at some weights, but man some pretty good guys that could be in the line up as well: 113 - Diaz, 120 - Poynter, 126 - Cummings, 132 - Tolin, 138 - Rumph, 145 - McIntosh, 160 - Kasch, 170 - Cornejo, 220 - Akers, 285 - Murrilo MOWrestler

leggin89
My Porter County Lineup: 106: Ty Haskins (though Tolin went further in the tournament) 113: Brock Peele 120: Colin Poynter 126: Ian Dembowski 132: Jack Tolin (based on last result) 138: Kris Rumph 145: Kasper McIntosh 152: Greg Lichtenberger 160: Diego Lemley 170: Ismael Cornejo 182: Lucas Davison 195: Andrew Davison 220: Eli Pokorney 285: Givoni Murillo
XCard
I think I have that one 7 -6 in favor of the county with one tossup My best guestimate as to a dual based on mostly previous results, which would be very entertaining as would any of these duals! 106 - Campbell MD Hollis. May lose a point here for bonus, as I think Hollis could avoid the major. (#TheCounty 4 - Da Region 0) 113 - Garcia D. Peele. (#TheCounty 7 - Da Region 0) 120 - Mills D. Triana. I know that Mills got the Fall, but I think think it is closer than that, in fact this would be my first swing match. (#TheCounty 10 - Da Region 0) 126 - Mulkey D. DeLaPena. OT match at State. Could go either way. My 2nd Swing match. (#TheCounty 13 - Da Region 0) 132 - Reitz D. Miranda. (#TheCounty 13 - Da Region 3) 138 - Black D. Conley. Does Black widen the gap the second time around? (#TheCounty 13 - Da Region 6) 145 - Lee MD. Crary. (#TheCounty 17 - Da Region 6) 152 - Lamore D. Clark (#TheCounty 17 - Da Region 9) 160 - Lemley MD Brewer (#TheCounty 17 - Da Region 13) 170 - Fatorre MD Cicciarelli (#TheCounty 17 - Da Region 17) 182 - Davison D. Walton. My 3rd Swing match of the dual, does Big Move Walton pull one out a la Dubusk Hobart/EMD 99? (Da Region 20 - #TheCounty 17) 195 - Davison MD McCormick. If McCormick does not make 195, maybe 6 pts given up here? (Da Region 23 - #TheCounty 17) 220 - Larson D. Pokerney. (Da Region 23 - #TheCounty 20) So it comes down to the Big Guys! Does Rickie have some Bonus Pts in him, or does it go to criteria? Does Streck pull it off? 285 - Streck D. Clark (FINAL: DaRegion 26 - #TheCounty 17) My Final swing match by the way.
