Seems about right to me. The last 2 seasons, if you use schools' Genius ratings as a predictive variable for the number of state qualifiers teams will get and then control for their feeder semi-state, the cumulative quality level of FW suggests they had 3.6 wrestlers per weight class that should get out of an average semi-state. Those numbers have been 4.1 or 4.2 for each of the other three semi-states the last 2 seasons. Mike's got 3.4 per wt for FW and 4.1, 4.1, and 4.4 for the others.

Coincidence that New Castle has Perry, Warren, and Cathedral?

I would take the top 4 from any weight class from New Castle against the top 4 from any other semi-state most years.  And those three teams are good, but I see lots of possible state champs from Evansville this year and next year.
