Watch out for 120. Should be a great finals match up. Also, heavyweight has gone back and forth throughout the season with George, Heffernan, and Dunn. Should be a great day of wrestling with some mild upsets

I think the team race will be very close... Yorktown has a few weights they may not score any points but they will have up to 7 champions to help offset those lost points.

Huge matches that will impact the team race greatly:

semifinal matchup of House (De) and Barr (Y)

semifinal matchup of Prescott (WI) and Green (De)

finals matchup of Maddox (Da) and Evans (De) - Delta needs this to keep up with Ytown champ count

Delta losing their 113 lber will also hurt them...

The team race this year will be very fun and entertaining for the 1st time in a long time....

I have to admit, I was a little upset with some of the seeds. The two better guys meet in the semi's in a couple of weight classes. Specifically 126 with Barr and House in the semi's (that's the real championship match).

Didn't Barr pin House at conference? Was it close before the fall?

This happens every year with some of the Monroe Central guys because of their weak schedule... Believe it or not, this actually could work in Barr and House's favor... They will most likely meet in the semi's at Regional, instead of having to wrestle Becker to get to the finals... This is one of those few instances where a mis-seeded #1 could help #2 & #3 at Regional... That's just me thinking long term of course...  Since the other sectional isn't strong (except Becker), it will sort itself out at regional...

On a side note. If House had wrestled 126 @ ECIC, this wouldn't be a problem...

Can Yorktown still hold on?

Can Delta step up and take the title?

Will Muncie Central be able to sneak a few wrestlers into the finals and break up the Delta and Yorktown parade?

Will Daleville have a Sectional Champion?

Some fun story lines for tomorrows sectional...

Good luck to all competitors and you seniors, enjoy the start of your final state tournament series....
