Jones bumps up to 195 and takes out state runner-up Tonte and I just read Davison weighed in at 195 and bumped to 220 to take out state qualifier and Super 32 top-12 guy Justin Akers of CP, 9-1. Wow! Did I read that right?!? Question: Will they both wrestle 182 at the Al Smith? We could see a re-match of the recent Jones/Eli match in the semi's and #1 vs #2 in the state in the finals. bellrs Posted December 14, 2015 Share Posted December 14, 2015 The 4 points were from escapes. I believe it was 6-3 at the end of the 1st period with 3 TDs for Rypel and 3 Escapes for Jones. Jones chose down 2nd period and got an escape with no other scoring. Rypel chose down in 3rd and got an escape with no other scoring. Final was 7-4.
