ENoblewrestling
Who was the scariest wrestler that you ever watched or faced? Not the best necessarily, but the most intimidating, roughest, generally scary guy out on the mat. For me it would be either Jon Fitch from Carroll High School, or Anton Talamentes fromfrom Dwenger. I didn't wrestle either of them, but a couple of my teammates did. It didn't look fun at all. Fitch even had one of our better kids, and it was a good match, but he was intense out there. Another kid who stood out from my coaching days was Travis Thatcher from Bellmont. That kid seemed like a real bad a$$.
Major Ursula
James Starks FW Northrop State Champ and Runner up At 171 he was a monster. Athletic and Superhuman strength. He and Boes put on a show! I still believe his loss as a Junior in the championship was one of the biggest upsets I've seen.

warsawwrestling
I remember when I was a senior and wrestling in the finals at Mishawaka there was a guy from Munster. Right before he came out to wrestle he went over and kissed his baby and baby mama (not so common in the early 90's). I think I was in shock for the whole match, took me right off my game! M109R
Taylor Vieck - Vincennes Lincoln I don't think I need to say anything else. X2 , I would also throw Pat Day into the mix , Day looked like he lived underneath a squat rack .

sudden death 7
I wrestled in central Pennsylvania in the early 90's kolat was more than intimidating, he was a legend in the making.
leggin89
Even thought you are all talking about Indiana guys and Kolat. I am going to take it one step further. Aleksandr Karelin is and will forever be the most intense, best, and scariest wrestler I have ever seen. sammyg
hogleg
What was the name of the absolute monster who wrestled 215 from Gibson Southern (I think) back in 96 or 97 that won state. The largest 215 I have ever seen and pinned everyone that year if I remember correctly. Never mind....I found his name and it was in 98 DJ Radnovich https://www.facebook.com/gshswrestling/photos/pb.120898191315709.-2207520000.1446389212./605372916201565/?type=3&theater Edited November 2, 2015 by hogleg Dwilly

overtime
Just off looks or mean on the mat where opponents were scared to wrestle them? Sam Elmore off looks. Ritter high school scared some kids before the match started that's for sure.
rookie78
I would say Gelen Robinson had a pretty intimidating demeanor. The look on his face, his build, his strength. A beast on the football field, the mat and in track/field SooperBod
XxFIST2FACExX
I would say Thomas Hammock from Bishop Luers. He was a beast I remember being in 7th grade watching him he looked like a grown man throwing boys around and now he is the running backs coach for the Baltimore Ravens! XxFIST2FACExX
Also Adam Chalfant from Winchester was another freak of a man in high school, and went on to have a pretty good hwt career for the Hoosiers
TheHider
For me during High School it will always be the monster Dexter Larimore. Was a pure man child, and no matter how big you were he would lock up that cross face cradle, and pin you. No matter if you were 230lbs or 275lbs. You were going to get cradled! MattM
Taylor V. Richey from Brownstown was also mean I'm guessing you mean Richey from Brown County. Brownstown has never gotten their wrestling program started. Edited November 15, 2015 by MattM
Promoter480
Clarence Bullock back in the LATE SIXTIES from a Fort Wayne school that existed back in that millennium. He was just skaaaarie. No matter who it was. He had no stance. He just look across the mat, walked calmly over to the opponent, or rather victim. No matter who, no matter what he would just pick the guy up in a bear hug and summarily place the hapless fellow's back against the mat. Time after time. overtime
From back in the 80s to the 2000s all those McGinley boys were pretty mean. I remember Timmy would get on top and just punish opponents.
