Go to 119lbs

That is correct that only one made the semi-finals. It was a crazy weight

The weight had 3 returning champs and one guy that was a champion the next year, so in total 5 champions including the new champ that year.

Reece Freeman beat two returning champions and finished 5th!

Returning champions were Eric Galka, Ethan Harris, and Anthony Williams

Who was it that got 4th at 112 that year?

103 weight class in the '08-'09 season Kyle Ayersman 3x Champ, Cody Phillips 3x Champ, Jared Mckinley 2x Champ, Mason Todd 1x Champ, Jarred Brooks 1x Champ, Brian Harvey 1x Champ, Brennan Campbell 2x Finalist, Dusty Kief Finalist, Todd Batt Finalist.

It's still always going to be hard to call 103/106 (especially the old 103) the "deepest weight."  It's so often more like the "futures" division where we get to see the prospects for the future duking it out.  Most of those guys in that specific season were a considerable tick down from the quality they eventually showed.  Deepest "futures" division ever--yes.  Deepest weight in terms of best guys AT THAT MOMENT--I find it hard to make that assertion.

You can also add Bryan Kuhn of Reitz to that weight class. He never got a title, but definitely deserves being mentioned with this group of athletes.

Wasn't Phillips a two-timer?
