Looks like some bad news to the east of us as Cleveland State is dropping their wrestling program after next year. They have two Indiana natives on their roster in Whitko's Chas Busz and Wayne's Kanez Omar.  They are also set to host NCAAs in 2018 in Cleveland.

So the AD played and coached lacrosse. I'm sure the decision to ax wrestling and ad lacrosse was thoroughly thought through with no bias. Insert sarcasm face.

While he was the AD at Butler he also pushed to begin a Lacrosse program.  Butler canceled it the year after he left the school.  Some people are saying that even though lacrosse only a small following in Ohio that Parry was able to sell this idea to the school's board of trustees by ensuring them that it will attract more wealthy donors and prep school applicants than what wrestling currently has.

Dang, thought this might make a move to Indy possible.....oh wait, never mind.

At Division I's there was actually some talk between some people that coming to Indy could occur soon.  Not sure how that will work out now based on the political uproar, but some at the NCAA seemed to like the idea.  Wonder why? It definitely could not be that it is .9 miles from the headquarters to Bankers Life and .7 miles to Lucas Oil!

Just think how amazing having NCAA's with the Basketball Final Four setup!!!

Their is a voting poll with this article on the Cleveland.com website.  The results of the poll by itself will not be enough sway the AD's opinion, but it may help generate more discussion in the media about the situation.
