Y2CJ41
Fort Wayne Shipley (Huntington North) vs. Bates (Adams Central) Bates just had a close one with McCormick at the regional - could be a good one. Bates beat Shipley earlier in the season Housholder lost a close one to Shipley early in the season also, so that whole quarter-bracket is tough. Loki27
McKinney,Chastain,Eldred and Napier, all four potential podium placers and 2 will be knocked out at 132 at New Castle. That's about as tough a draw as you're going to find.
coatrack
Loki27 I couldn't agree more. Ellis and Vaughn fell fortunate to the luck of the draw. It would have been better to take fourth then first last Saturday, CRAZY. I' will take McKinney as the champ come Saturday Go Warriors
Linn's Prodigy
160: Nick Potter (35-9) Sophmore, New Haven VS. Bryce Baumgartner (31-4), Belmont. Definitely a death draw; however, the question is for whom. Battle-tested Potter has definitely closed the gap on Stud Sophmore Baumgartner. Potter's 9 loses can be deceiving due to his matches with big names such as T.C. Perry, Jed Levitz, and Jake Weimer. Baumgartner has stood the test of time so far in his high school career. Visiting Banker's Life last season he is tough but is the hardened Warrior Elite graduate, Nick Potter in Mr. Baumgartner's head? The two have battled twice thus far, but what most don't know is the rivalry goes way back the early club days of Belmont. So before this match is over-looked, sit back, grab a nacho, and enjoy the excitement! Y2CJ41, Bulldog89 and Linn's Prodigy

Looks like the bracket lined up very close to plan of rankings. Would you define death draw as like two highly ranked state kids meeting in SS ticket round. Linn's Prodigy
I dont know if I would call the 8th semi-state ranked kid vs the the #1 ranked a death draw. Looks like the bracket lined up very close to plan of rankings. Would you define death draw as like two highly ranked state kids meeting in SS ticket round. I understand the general view and idea of death draws. However, these two battled in the NHC semis with it being only a 2-3 point match the whole time until a takedown in the last 10 seconds solidified an 8-3 win for Baumgartner. Most of these predictions are speculation anyways because any kid can show up or not for that matter on any given day. I'm just stating that it may be a fun one to watch that's all. Linn's Prodigy
Plus at this stage of the tournament, rankings can sometimes mean little to none. The most aggressive, physical, and driven wrestler at this point usually takes the upper hand. b_easy
