unknown wrestler
This group is stronger. This group is stonger or we wouldn't be talking about it. Do you think the odds would be any different if we held semistate at Purdue or something closer our way?
cougarlion
I know we have at least 4 returning state qualifiers in this group from last year.
Wrestling Scholar
Logan regional got 5 through last year and I don't think this years group is much stronger. Dude, Im ok with you ripping this regional. But when you get on here and like you know it all, why don't you get your facts straight. The Logansport regional put 7 through to state. Thats an understatement by 29%. Yes the reqional isn't as good as the ones up north, but it also made up of smaller schools. When you look at the number of qualifiers per student population, it probably does as well or better than the other regionals. fanatic46041, unknown wrestler and kman

headlock83
Okay, I deserve the slams for bringing up the Logan Regional's performance at Merrillville SS topic. It is an obnoxious topic and I get it. I know that it's not a fair comparison, and probablly most regionals in the state wouldn't fair any better. I also hope all of you are correct and the Logan Regional boys go to SS and get their share of the spots to Indy, which would be roughly 14 to state with 3 SS champs. FIREPROOF
Devildog is busy maintaining his 4.0 GPA at Ball State where he's also the baseball manager. He plans to be at Bankers Life buying as many smoothies as he can!
bomber_bob
in reply to the talk of 12 potential State qualifiers, it's hard to predict that. There's upsets every year at Regional, and the draw can either work in your favor or against you. So until that draw comes out, it's going to be pretty difficult to speculate how many we can get through.

Wrestling Scholar
The article states only three from the Merrillville SS advance to State. Is that a mistake or has something changed? I appreciate that the J&C got some unexpected wrestling coverage in the paper. But they are wrong on that fact about 3 getting out. . Nothing has changed and 4 get out of Merrillvillle just like every other semi-state.
