base
I'm not sure what good IU can take away from yesterday's dismal defeat. Wisconsin not only won every match (final score was 45-0) but also did not allow one offensive point to be scored by IU (not one takedown or reversal, only escapes) From the perspective of a native wrestling fan, things seem to get brighter ahead with the commitments from Tommy Cash and Garrett Pepple. But is it enough for IU to compete at the national and big10 level?
headlock68
Not even 1 takedown or reversal the entire dual against a Wisconsin team that is near the bottom of B1G. How much longer will they put up with Goldman. He is a horrible Head Coach and has no reason coaching at the Division 1 level. Indiana might be the worst program right now in all of Division 1 Wrestling.
Disco
I think the one positive that Indiana can take from this loss is ,I'm positive that the Hoosiers won't win any duals in the Big Ten this year. Joking aside, this is such a dismal program, I don't know if anyone in the country would take the head coach job at this point. The Guru
I'd go so far as to say that IU being this bad damages the recruitment of our kids nationwide. IU factors in to how wrestling in Indiana is perceived.
