A look in the 2014-15 season

Recommended Posts

A few questions I've been thinking about regarding next season goes as follows:

What freshmen are going to make a name for themselves next season?

Who are the top contenders at 106?

What will the 220 pound weight class look like with the departure of the Big Four (Robinson, Miller, Tolley, and Faulkenberg)?

Who are the top five teams individually and dual meet wise?

Is the current state format a good direction or should we return to the dual meet format to decide who truly is the "best team" and "state champions"?

Will Cathedral defend their title?

Dylan Lydy wins at 160 or 170?

Just some questions.

IMO each of these freshman will have a significant impact next season:

Tylor Triana 106

Zack Fattore 132

Marc "Trey" Buehler 145

Ian Dembowski 106-113

Alex Hirschfield 138

Alex Bautista 106

Cody Crary 113-120

Diego Lemley 126-132

Lucas Davison 145-152

I got Cathedral.  They are so good the coaches took the rest off the season off.

With respect 6 pack jack, we do have coaches working with our kids. The kids are also going to various RTCs. I myself am not a freestyle technician, so my off season help wouldn't be much. We'll be working hard all year when it is IHSAA legal, and we'll be ready to roll come time for December. One more thing, the main credit for the state title is given to the wrestlers who wrestled, and are still wrestling and working hard.

Thanks,

Tony McGinley

Some could move up or down in weight class and we don't know who is moving into the weight class, but 220 looks to be "stacked" again for the next season.  ( I apologize for any misspelled names)

Want about Randy Scott of Mooresville 3rd at 195lbs last year? And I believe Ben Schoolcraft is going to graduate early...early as of in the Class of 2014

Randy Scott wrestled Folkstyle, Freestyle and GR all at 195 this spring. Good wrestler! has not moved up to 220 yet that I can find. Ben Schoolcraft did tell the kids at the State Weigh-ins that he was going to try and graduate early. Name stays on my list until he does. He had a great year! Also heard that Gunnar Larson is going 195 at the Disney Duals. Until he lines up at 195, he stays on the list. As far as Erik Hart, he is a good wrestler and may do some damage to this list. The reason Redmond is on the list, he wrestled 220 at Freestyle and GR last weekend. I like Manns at Crawfordsville also. But he always wrestles 195.

Adam Lytle from Tecumseh 12th went 1-2 against Cory Klem - Gibson Southern (#9 on your list) and 1-0 vs. Adrian Butler - EMD , and 1-1 vs. Tristin Choate - Mount Vernon P.

Adam Lytle shoud be on my list! The list is not a ranking, just 27 kids. I did but the State Q's up top. Then the Ticket Round Semi State kids next. I leave the rankings up to Indiana Mat. C. Morrow may be the best on the list? he has a neck injury and could not wrestle this past weekend.
