James 3. Broukal 4. Donaldson 5. Jourdan 6. Carithers 7. Eldred 8. Shipley I must say I like the looks of 132...What a stacked weight class full of a lot of great wrestlers! I have to say Broukal and Davis both showed a lot of class after their match...both congratulating each other! Way to go boys!
XCard
Looks like no State Champ was ranked lower than 5, nailed a majority of them with #1 rankings. I would say that is pretty outstanding job by OTR given the parity that was in many weight classes this year.
MattM
The big issue when looking at these rankings is how the brackets play out. If a higher ranked wrestler put out a lower ranked opponent I would say the ranking weren't to far off of the results even if they were not perfectly in order. Noticing the times a lower ranked or none ranked wrestler put out a higher ranked opponent is where the real differences can be seen between the ranking and results. Good point, perfect example is 126 with Davis and Lee switching order
Say What?
One note regarding 132 is that Davis was ranked 4th before he lost to Jourdan and was ranked 9th in the last rankings update. 132 played out to form based on the next to last update.
