Late reversal for Loraine, trails 5-2 to start the 2nd. Loraine is down to start the period. Loraine quick escape, TD again for Turner, leads 7-3...inj time for Turner Mat 2 Holmes gets reversed, escapes, we are all knotted up 3-3 late in the first period. Holmes down to start the 2nd, escapes, leads 4-3. They are trying to beat each others hands and elbows, seem very evenly matched. Holmes gets a TD late in the period, leads 6-3 to start the 3rd. Becker down to start the 3rd, Holmes grinding hard....60 sec down, still 6-3. A lot of action without a score. Cottey very aggressive, finally gets a TD. Crowd "encouraging" refs to call the 2. Cottey riding, Glog active on the bottom....gets the reversal...2-2. Glog down to start the 2nd, gets another reversal, leads Cottey 4-2 heading into the 3rd. Cottey on top, Glog looking for another reversal, gets it, leads 6-2....mat wrestling really winning this for Glog....uh oh, Cottey gets a headlock, nearly gets the fall...we are tied at 8-8 Mat 2 Sinko with a quick TD, rides out Johnson entire period basically. Johnson down to start the 2nd. Sinko just keeps grinding and chopping meat....gets a tilt, esc Johnson, another TD for Sinko, starting to pull away...leads 7-1. Just too much on top for Johnson. Chastain reversal, leads 7-0....dominating with mat wrestling....he better avoid what happened to Sinko, lol....in full control, Aldrich looks helpless on the mat...late reversal for ALdrich, Chastain wins 7-3 Mat 2 McKinney and Gayfield scoreless thru 1. McKinney down to start the 2nd, Gayfield riding tough, rides him the entire period...scoreless into the 3rd. Gayfield down, now it's McKinney's turn to ride. Sinko wasn't just winning, he appeared to be physically dominating and Johnson, quite frankly, looked like he was broken. Instead, he pulled the okie-doke on Sinko and got the HUGE fall. BLF went nuts, by far the loudest it's been here today. For anyone wondering, it appears that Brock Hudkins forfeited (I've heard due to sickness, but not positive), so semi-state alternate Black will be a state placer. Mat 1 Campbell 1st period TD, esc for Warner...2-1 to start the 2nd Campbell down to start the 2nd...Warner pretty tough on top, pretty active, but no tilts so far....sudden reversal for Campbell, gets the fall! Mat 2 Early just too much for McCarty, leads 8-2, riding tough, esc. Scoreless thru 1. 2nd period, Ruberg down, Cova hit with a stall warning 30 seconds in...Ruberg keeps coming close to the escape but can't clear his head...finally gets the escape, leads 1-0, 1 minute left in 2nd. 2nd period late, Cova gets a TD, takes him to his back, wins by fall....tough end of the season for Ruberg, but he will be back. Mat 2 Carithers leads 2-1 to start the 2nd. Quick esc makes it 3-1, follows it up with a TD, leads 5-1, quick esc Kern, 5-2. Very near TD for Batts, giving Harvey all he wants. Some vicious scrambles between these two...coming down to the last 30 secs. Harvey looks tired, Batts deep on a single, GETS IT....big upset, nice win for Batts, 3-1 Mat 2 Abram comes out the aggressor, gets a mid-period TD, leads 2-0 to start the 2nd. Krumlauf down, Abram riding hard...Still 2-0 to start the 3rd. Krumlauf on top, starting to look like he may be in a little trouble. Some nice scrambles between these 2, no TDs yet. Finally Armstrong breaks through, leads 2-1. Esc late in the 2nd, tied 2-2 heading into the 3rd. Very evenly matched. Esc. Armstrong, leads 3-2, 90 secs left. Wow, Armstrong locks in a spladle, gets the impressive fall. Max Dole gets a sweet reversal to a fall. Nice upset win for Dole. Mat 2 Loe just a little too much for Fritz, wins 9-3 Lile and Karges up now, battle of tough seniors. Lile with a smooth TD on the edge of the mat, attempted to look for backs, but too far out of bounds. Esc Karges, 2-1, back to neutral. Esc. Karges to start the 2nd, tied 2-2. Lile looking great on his feet, now gets the FALL. Great job by Lile. Carroll all over Ryan on mat 2. Wilson, 5-4, back to neutral...fixed the score, we are at 4-4 to start the 3rd. Mote down to start the 3rd, reverses Wilson to lead 6-4 Mat 2 Corsaro all over Dodson, leading 10-2 early in the 2nd. Looks phenomenal this postseason, on his feet and on the mat. Using a variety of tilts and takedowns and making a very good opponent look average. Corsaro looking for the fall......gets 3 backs for the Tech Fall, 18-2. Shoots a single, Mote stalls his way out of bounds, gets a warning....HUGE, late TD for WIlson to WIN it in spectacular fashion. Looked like Mote ran out of gas a bit and Wilson never quit fighting. Great win for Wilson, painful lost for Mote. Mat 2 Scoreless thru 1. Kemper down, Jolas has both legs in and is chopping wood on top. Kemper doesn't look like he's having a good time on bottom.
