Caleb Spires
There were probably quite a bit of them, so this topic was expected to be brought up at some point tonight. Brendon Helm over Kenny Hughes was the main one that stuck out to me.

IU89
Tyler Ferguson beating Sinkovics and tearing everyone apart at 116. No surprise to anyone in the southern half of the state. Only 1 loss last year. Unfortunately for him it was in the ticket round at the SS. This kid is a stud!

Unfortunately for him it was in the ticket round at the SS. This kid is a stud! It's not that he was unknown or anything like that, but Sinkovics was ranked #2 almost all last year and many argued he would winning state. What made it an upset was that he was seeded 7th and aside from a good match with Sinkovics, nobody made it out of the first period, including a D3 Michigan state champion in the finals. He'll definitely be a contender this year.

PreparetoWin
Had a good time watching the great competition, this is our 2nd year attending and it just keeps getting better. A question for debate: Indiana had 3 out of 14 champions, is this because other states are sending more studs? they are flat out better? more of our studs are playing football? Just curious as to what people think but me personally I think Indiana was represented well with those that were there and this tourney is well ran and a heck of a place for kids to test their skills and see how much they improved with the work put in over the summer.
