I think Jenkinson, from Centerville will have a good chance to repeat as well as Tipton will be strong & Killion(who missed the tourney run last year with illness) Connersville should have 2 or 3 strong contenders for titles as well

I disagree on Tipton he is way to small and his tecnique doesn't make up for his strength at the weight he plans on going. Killion is sketchy do to the weight he is possibly going. Rushville should have a very tough 182 lb. Richmond has Austin bane coming in he should make noise. Can't forget those uc kids that bigmak put in as lock ins on the Tec predictions forum Coffman and alquino.also according to bigmak mcclurg should make some big noise this year. I'm sure Richmond heavyweight is a lock in unless some crazy stud moves in wich I doubt. Also Richmond has another kid that I have not seen much of this off season but place on the podium at regionals at a low weight I think he took 2nd? I forget his name haha. South dear born has max dole but I do not think he will be a champ just because of the weight I think he will go. South deerborn looks like one of the weaker teams do to them loosing most of their semi state ranked kids shaw and utterback and idk. Batesville will be not as solid as the past year but still will hold their ground. East central is another team that is not as strong as they were but still should hold up. New caste I look for being weaker this year then they was last year. Lincoln, tri, Hagerstown, north Easter will not make noise at all. Connersville as returning champs should be in the running for back to back titles. Richmond will be a team to watch with all their mat time this off season. UC is another team that may surprise some people on the improvement also centerville will be better ten they was last year ad another team to watch for improvement. Almost forgot about Milan but I do not have much to say. I'm just trying to spark this forum up

Here's a list of wrestlers that are note worthy that didn't make it to regionals last year for various reasons.

106 Nathon Flowers New Castle... placed 3rd in sections but didn't wrestle at regionals Bundy took his spot and went to semi-state

113 McClurg Union County... wrestled in sectionals but do to missing most of the season he didn't get seeded and drew the sectional champ in the pig tail match.

120 Loos Franklin County... He didn't wrestle sectional, I'm not sure why, but he placed 3rd at the Spartan Classic as just a freshman.

120 Taylor Reed Oldenburg Academy... Placed 5th in sections but was the 113 regional champ in 2012 with is worth noting.

126 Ben Westerfeld Batesville... 2 time semi-state qualifier and regional runner up to Brandon Campbell in 2012. He missed Sectionals to to injury.

132/138 Tyler Gutaphel East Central... former semi-state qualifier missed sectionals due to and injury

138 Killion Centerville... missed sectionals due to illness had some victories over some regional placers including two wins over regional runner up Anthony Garteman.

170 Will Amberger Batesville... Semi-State Qualifier in 2012, he loss to Regional Champ Gonzales in OT. He placed 4th at Sectional but didn't wrestle the 3rd place match due to injury.

I might have missed some note worthy guys. I assume most of the 106's from last year will go up atleast one weight class but he's a list of some freshman that I know of that could make some noises.

Caufman Union County

Schaefer South Dearborn

Michael Deal Batesville

All three will be 106, I'm sure there's other good freshman but those are just the ones I've seen and I know there's some good ones in the upper weights.

This isn't a prediction just some names to keep in mind when making predictions.

great post...about as good as can be done this early. weights will change big time obviously. I know earlier in the ISWA stuff this year, Dole was weighing about 165+. Killion is listed on the football sheet at 160 but hear you know how they balloon those numbers lol. I heard he would like to go 138 again but I think 145 would be more realistic. I also know he is in the weight room pushing a ridiculous amount of weight around. I agree with my sandwich counterpart Quarter:Pounder about Tipton, his technique is not there. He has been able to rely on strength and length at the lower weights but that is going to catch up with him at the middle weights. Heard Jenkinson is keeping his weight down so he could have a repeat performance of last years 40 win season. Hagerstowns Christian Cox is one to definately watch as a repeat regional champ, had not been for a slow ref, he would have been at state as Cox had his guy stuck on his back in the ticket round with the ref out of position too long. Killion did beat Cox at ISWA state 9-2, those two are on a crash course unless they are in different weights.

I heard Seth Gray is supposed to make quite a bit of noise this year. Any comments...?

He needs to take it serious. He has the skill and talent, i just dont think he takes it as serious as he should. He got pinned in seconds by Tipton at spartan classic because he didnt even want to wrestle. I was looking forward to a good match. At least I was told he said something like, just pin me real fast so i can get out of here. lol

Seth gray??? Never heard of him

Seth gray is from richmond. he may be a senior this year, maybe junior. my guess is he is probably related to taylor gray who helps coach at richmond and was a hell of a wrestler himself. i have seen a few moments where this kid shows what he can do then others where it looks like he just isnt that in to it. I think how far he goes depends on his own mind set.
