Two-time InterMat JJ Classic champion Mark Hall (Apple Valley, Minn.) finished this past season ranked No. 1 nationally at 152 pounds . That was from June 27th. He has "lived" in more states during his wrestling career than most people have visited for wrestling. Youth in Michigan, Middle School in Kentucky, rest of Middle School part 2 and freshman year start of High School in Minnesota, and now at least for the summer Colorado for what looks like OTC. Riley Lefever was able to compile a nice run of wins though, but unfortunately was stopped one match shy of AA status. Our small Junior Women's group also had a tough day. However, Kayla Miricle, fought through her bracket to make the finals once again. She ends up taking second, but a great run for a girl who flew straight back from the Junior PanAm Games in Chile to be part of the event. FYI - If you haven't noticed it yet, Y2 has chosen to for go the happening Fargo Downtown scene to write up some nice recaps of each session on the main page. State Champs (1 or multiple time) don't get any type of seperation criteria (other than away from team mates), so several end up drawing other state champs or top national guys.
